Rotator Cuff Injuries

Shoulder pain that flares when lifting, reaching or training overhead is often linked to the rotator cuff muscles. These injuries can range from tendon irritation to partial or full-thickness tears, and they can be frustratingly persistent if not managed correctly.

At Herne Hill Chiropractic, we carry out a detailed assessment of shoulder mechanics, strength and load tolerance. Where clarity is needed, in-house diagnostic ultrasound allows us to accurately assess tendon health and guide care. Treatment focuses on settling pain, restoring controlled movement, and rebuilding strength through progressive rehabilitation. In stubborn or inflammatory cases, injection therapy may be considered to support recovery and help rehabilitation move forward.
