Hip Pain
Whether you’re highly active or more sedentary, hip pain can make walking, sitting, exercising and even sleeping uncomfortable. It’s often felt around the outer hip or into the groin, and pain may even radiate down the thigh.
Common causes include osteoarthritis, gluteal tendinopathy, bursitis, impingement or labral pathology. Because hip pain is often influenced by how the body moves and loads — not just structural changes alone — we take a thorough approach and assess biomechanics, asymmetries and functional strength to identify what’s truly driving your symptoms. Most hip conditions respond very well to conservative care combining hands-on treatment and targeted rehabilitation, with imaging or injection therapy used when appropriate.
Knee Pain
In many non-traumatic cases, knee pain doesn’t come from a single injury but from overuse, altered biomechanics or muscular imbalance gradually overloading the joint. It can be frustrating, especially when it limits walking, running or training.
At Herne Hill Chiropractic, we manage these types of knee problems by looking beyond the knee itself, assessing hip strength, foot mechanics and movement control to understand why the knee is being stressed. Care focuses on restoring strength, improving alignment and gradually rebuilding load tolerance so the knee can cope with everyday demands or higher-level activity.
